Summer Love

Your heart beats faster than norm: Thump-thump, thump-thump! Butterflies floating in your stomach, eyes flickering and a rush that sends your entire body quivering. Diagnosis: Love. Have you ever felt this way?

While watching the movie ‘Hitch’, several questions popped in mind and possibly may have also crossed yours:

• Where and when does one begin his/her quest for love?
•  How does one find his/her soulmate? 
• What are the signs that a person may show similar interest?
•  At what point do we say those three words: “I love you”?
•  Will the relationship become a fairy tale that never ends or just another short story?

Well, one thing is for sure, I’m not a love doctor so I definitely don’t have all the correct answers. But growing up, I’ve always heard these words: “Trust your heart, instincts & most definitely pray to God.

Summer is here and the love is everywhere. It’s so amazing how love can be expressed not only in different ways (referring to the good ones now), but also in languages all over the world. What’s even more fascinating is that love is simply unexplainable. Yes, you could try to Google, search the dictionaries and many other books, but the fact will remain rigid. 

Dating is sometimes encouraged during teenage years. For some persons, summer marks the season of not only total relaxation, but a chance to share and encounter love & the joy it brings. While for others, this may mean another chance to create new memories, worthwhile for future flashbacks.


But, one thing is for sure, love is blind and tells no time. Who knows, this may be your summer…
